Lahore Sialkot Motorway Infrastructure Management Company (LSMIM Pvt Ltd) was incorporated as a private limited company as per SECP regulations in 2016. LSMIM is a Special Project Company (SPC) with registered office based in Lahore, Punjab and is wholly owned subsidiary of Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The company is formed for the purpose of construction, Toll collection and operation and maintenance of Lahore Sialkot Motorway (M11), which connects Sialkot to Lahore via 4 lane 91.2 Km road having 7 interchanges.
The Project was awarded to LSMIM Pvt Ltd in year 2017 under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) regime on BOT basis. Sponsors of the company include National Highway Authority (NHA) and Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The company has entered into a concession agreement for a period of 25 years. LSMIM Pvt Ltd will operate and manage this road upto Year 2042 and then will be transferred to NHA. During this period, besides routine maintenance, two asphaltic overlays will be provided after 10- and 20-years intervals respectively.
